Thandapani was a civil engineer. After completing his studies, he worked at a place for four years, learning the intricacies of his job. Later, he ventured into the building construction business on his own, which brought him great wealth. He had two daughters who were twins.
The daughters had completed their college education and were working. At that time, Thandapani’s wife suggested they arrange marriages for their daughters. However, the daughters refused, saying they didn’t want marriage and preferred to live freely without being confined to the boundaries of family life. Hence, their marriages were postponed. Wherever they went, they traveled in a car, leading a luxurious life like queens.
Beginning the Search for a Groom
Thandapani’s wife decided to start looking for grooms for their daughters. She took their horoscopes to an astrologer, who suggested certain remedies. Both daughters performed these remedies diligently, but nothing changed. They went to astrologer after astrologer, performing whatever remedies were suggested, but they soon grew tired of it.
At this point, Thandapani suggested they consult a well-known astrologer. Meanwhile, he had invested all his savings into buying a large plot of land, planning to build and sell individual bungalows. Unfortunately, none of the 20 houses he built sold, and this added to his worries about his daughters’ marriages. A relative who visited his house suggested he try DNA astrology to find a solution for his daughters’ horoscopes. They contacted the astrologer and waited for his response.
The Astrologer Contacts Thandapani
The astrologer called Thandapani and asked why he wanted to consult the horoscope. Thandapani explained that his daughters had no interest in marriage and were very adamant about it. The astrologer gathered details about the daughters and investigated their birth times. After analyzing their family background, he found that the daughters’ horoscopes were correct. However, they were strongly influenced by Mars karma, meaning their horoscopes had recorded Mars karma right from birth. He confirmed that their struggle with marriage was indeed real and advised them not to be too particular about finding the “ideal” groom.
When Thandapani asked why both his daughters had this strong Mars karma, the astrologer explained that something must have occurred in their previous lives related to Mars karma. It could have involved deceit in a business similar to his construction work, where either he or his ancestors might have cheated someone. Hearing this, Thandapani felt a wave of guilt and started sweating, even though he was sitting in an air-conditioned room. He handed the phone to his wife and left the room abruptly.
Thandapani Reflects on His Deception
That night, Thandapani couldn’t sleep. His mind wandered to a time when he had deceived someone. He had once gone to buy a plot of land from a woman who told him that her deceased parents had given her the land to build a house and live happily. Despite knowing her situation, Thandapani tricked her into selling the land to him. Saradha, the woman, had trusted him blindly, signing all the documents without reading them. In reality, Thandapani had prepared the documents in a way that transferred the land ownership to him without her knowledge.
Saradha vacated the house within ten days, believing Thandapani would build her a new home, as he had promised. However, Thandapani sold the land to someone else and left town. Saradha never knew what had happened, thinking that Thandapani was still building her house.
Saradha Vacates the Place
After the land registration was completed, Thandapani gave Saradha some money, saying, “Use this to move elsewhere, and you can stay there until this house is completed.” Saradha agreed and promised to vacate the house within 10 days. As promised, she vacated the house and moved into a new place on her own. However, Thandapani, who initially thought he would give the house to Saradha after it was built, ended up selling the land to someone else. Moreover, he left the town. Saradha was unaware of this and believed that Thandapani was building the house for her. In reality, the person who bought the land was the one constructing the house. Saradha, still hopeful, believed the house would soon be hers. The construction of all the houses was nearing completion.
Thandapani Searches for Saradha
After identifying the location, Thandapani went there and began asking people, but no one seemed to know where Saradha was. Eventually, he met a man who was grazing cattle. When Thandapani asked him, the man pointed out the house where Saradha used to work. At that moment, the house was locked. Upon inquiring, Thandapani was told that the family had gone abroad to visit their daughter. When he asked about Saradha, he was informed that both Saradha and her husband were no longer alive. Thandapani then asked if Saradha had any children, and the cattle herder mentioned that Saradha had a daughter. When Thandapani inquired further, the man pointed him to the house where Saradha’s daughter lived.
Thandapani observed the house and the daughter’s living conditions before returning home. He told his wife that he intended to buy the land where Saradha’s daughter lived, but that he currently didn’t have the financial means. He asked his wife to take out the jewelry from their bank’s safe deposit box so they could mortgage it and secure a loan for the land. She agreed. They both went to the bank and retrieved the jewelry, but on that day, the person who appraised the jewelry was unavailable, so they couldn’t get the loan. Carrying the jewelry, Thandapani told his wife that he would make arrangements at another bank, and he hurried back to where Saradha’s daughter lived.
Meeting Saradha’s Daughter
Thandapani found Saradha’s daughter’s house. Seeing that she and her husband were not home, he hid the gold jewelry he had brought in a small bag in the roof of the house. When they returned and saw him lying unconscious, Saradha’s daughter splashed water on his face, thinking he had fainted from hunger. She brought him food, and as he ate, he mentally sought forgiveness for betraying her mother. After eating, he left.
The next morning, when Saradha’s daughter was cleaning, she found the bag of gold jewelry and a letter hidden in the roof. The letter read: “I deceived your mother and took her land. I am now returning the equivalent amount in gold. Please forgive me.”
The Change in Thandapani’s Daughters
After this act of atonement, things began to improve for Thandapani. The houses he couldn’t sell began to sell one by one, and his daughters had a change of heart. They agreed to marry whoever was chosen for them. This change of heart came from advice given by a close friend. The two grooms, who had previously seen the daughters and left, reconnected and agreed to marry them. The wedding arrangements were made quickly, and Thandapani mentally thanked the DNA astrologer. He believed that the penance he had done for his past mistakes had turned the karma around for his daughters, allowing them to marry and live happily.
At that moment, he reflected on how many astrologers they had consulted, performing all the remedies they suggested, yet without any result. They had spent so much money, time, and physical effort on those remedies in vain. But with just one moment of realizing his mistake and seeking atonement, his daughters’ marriages were successfully arranged. He felt happy, telling his wife that he had truly experienced the great power of DNA astrology. He firmly believed that it was only through DNA astrology that this transformation had been possible.
The Sage’s Explanation of Karma
At the wedding mandapam, people asked the sage how such a change had occurred in one day. The sage explained that Thandapani had realized his mistakes and performed penance, which created positive energy, leading to the resolution of his daughters’ Mars karma. The people, hearing this, realized the consequences of deceit in property matters and vowed never to make such mistakes.
The sage explained that children born under certain stars, such as Karthigai, Pooram, Moolam, or Revathi, are influenced by Mars karma if there is deceit involving land or property in previous generations. Such children often face delays in marriage. Thandapani’s daughters, too, had carried this karma because of their father’s wrongdoing, but through his penance, their karma was transformed into positive karma, and they lived happily ever after.
