Viswanathan and Kamakshi were a couple who lived very happily together. They had two daughters and a son. The daughters lived abroad, while the son, Swaminathan, resided in Chennai. Swaminathan and his wife, Vedavalli, had three daughters. During his retirement, Viswanathan spent his days joyfully with his wife Kamakshi and relatives. At the age of 64, Viswanathan passed away. After that, Kamakshi fell into deep sorrow, but her daughter-in-law, Vedavalli, gradually changed her mindset and brought her back to her old state.

While the family was living joyfully, a visitor named Thanam entered the house.

Listen to the story narrated in tamil…

The Change in Kamakshi’s Mindset

Thanam is the daughter of Kamakshi’s elder sister. After her husband passed away, Thanam lived comfortably in a senior citizens’ home, using her husband’s pension. She slowly changed Kamakshi’s mindset by telling her, “Why should you work for these people? You receive your husband’s pension, so why waste your life for them when you can live peacefully?”

Kamaksih, whose mind was changed, spoke angrily to her son and daughter-in-law, treating the children without love. She left the house and asked to be taken to the same senior citizens’ home where Thanam lived.

Kamakshi’s Change of Heart

After several years, Kamakshi returned home, saying that she would not stay in that house anymore and that Thanam had left for her daughter six months earlier. She expressed her desire to live her old life.

However, Vedavalli stated that the only reason you came out was because of the mesmerizing words from outsiders that changed your mind. She urged Kamakshi not to let such an incident happen again and reassured her that she could stay there as she did before without doing any work and that she would provide all the help they needed, pointing out the mistakes Kamakshi had made.

Kamakshi Resuming Her Responsibilities in the Kitchen

Kamakshi gently spoke to her daughter-in-law Vedavalli, changing her mindset once again. She agreed to take back all the cooking responsibilities, advising Vedavalli to focus on her children while she went to work. Kamakshi firmly stated that anyone who gave her wrong advice would not be allowed in the house, assuring them that her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughters would remain her family. After this, the house transformed into a joyful place.

The Karma of This Story

In this story, Kamakshi’s act of cooking and serving joyfully to everyone resulted in the presence of a good vibration of the moon karma. Moreover, by behaving lovingly and affectionately towards the children, feeding and caring for them, the good vibration of the guru karma continued to linger. By looking after and managing all the household chores, the positive vibration of the Saturn karma also persisted. Due to this Saturn karma, Kamakshi could sleep peacefully without disturbances. However, these three karmas combined with her ego, which said, “Why should I work for these people when I receive my pension?” also brought in the vibration of the Mars karma. Consequently, influenced by Thanam’s words, she became ready to leave the house for a better life, leading to the emergence of the Rahu karma. Thus, these five karmas began to express their negative vibrations. During her time in that house, the negative vibration of Saturn karma caused Kamakshi to become dependent on sleeping pills.

After Kamakshi returned to this house, the previously mentioned moon karma, guru karma, and Saturn karma resumed their positive vibrations in that house, resulting in the home becoming filled with good vibrations again. When Kamakshi was able to provide the good vibration of Saturn karma, she slept well without the need for sleeping pills. Any house with good karma records will thrive as long as those vibrations are present. Thank you.
